 Never heard of African glass? These recycled glass beads are made from a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The glass beads are made by crushing glass to a fine powder and poured into molds with a leaf stem used to make the hole. When they are then baked in the oven, the glass fuses and the stem burns up. These glass beads are not smooth and each one is unique!
